When the psychologist fuels a miscarriage of justice

"We know more about possible sources of error today than we did some years ago", says psychologist Bjørn Reidar Karlsen, who contributed to the conviction for incest of an innocent man in 1991.
Which sources or error? The incest "experts" themselves, with their dogmas and interpretational arts, were the sources!
Karlsen will have us believe that the problem was that important knowledge available today did not exist 10 years ago. That is incorrect; the knowledge existed. The problem was all the false information - constructed by the "experts" and passed off for scientific knowledge - with which they indoctrinated both juries and everybody else in a cocksure manner.
And this false knowledge is still the problem, because the same "experts" are so unwilling to go back on their beliefs. They still publish "expert" books containing a loooong list of "common symptoms and signs" of sexual abuse. Among them: much crying, much anger, sleep problems, lack of bladder control, etc etc.
On top of it all, this doctrine of signs does not contain a single sign that no sexual abuse has taken place.
Helped by such "semiology", one can "prove" that any child at all has been sexually abused. Carried to its extreme conclusion it produces a proliferating mass paranoia, the way it happened in Bjugn.
These "sign" psychologists and their disciples are still dangerous sources of error.
