One million grandchildren denied access
This article deals with the consequences of family
break-up caused by divorce or separation for grandchildren and grandparents alike.
The article is presented for the NCHR's readers because grandchildren and
grandparents face the same problems when the children are taken into compulsory
care and placed in foster homes among total strangers. The foster family and
the social workers refuse grandchildren access to their grandparents. This was
one of the reasons behind The Grandmothers' Rebellion.
